Xfwm4 has CI configured to run tests on every commit. For non- translation commits, build and distcheck jobs are run. https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/xfwm4/-/pipelines As 4.14.2-4.14.5 are all bug fix releases, I would recommend the 4.14.5 release instead of individual cherry-picks in between. This
