Er I meant to say I saved a test Word document in Word 97/2003 format
(.doc) in Word 2007 on Windows XP and tested it on openoffice
1:2.3.1-3ubuntu3.

Which version of Ubuntu and specific openoffice version did this problem
occur in? I tried saving a test word document and opened it just fine in
openoffice 1:2.3.1-3ubuntu3. Also including a small test case word
document would be useful.
