Ubuntu 20.04 Gnome Shell 3.36.7 virt-viewer 7.0-2build1 /usr/bin/qemu-system-x86_64 virtual machine manager 2.2.1 Using the built in graphical console of virtual machine manager in a wayland session, the display is fine but full screen display is missing, hence the requirement for virt-viewer.
