Public bug reported:

Hi,

I'm currently trying to enable the latest version of the cura-slicer app
to print on a USB-connected 3D-Printer (it has a built-in USB-serial-
converter)

Bus 001 Device 003: ID 1a86:7523 QinHeng Electronics HL-340 USB-Serial
adapter

Even after the author recently added the raw connection and connections now are

Note, that cura-slicer:mount-observe , cura-slicer:removable-media , and
cura-slicer:raw-usb have been added, it still doesn't print. Instead I have
hundreds of kernel error messages of the type

[87557.508219] audit: type=1400 audit(1636805709.652:2164): apparmor="DENIED"
operation="open" profile="snap.cura-slicer.cura"
name="/sys/devices/pnp0/00:04/id" pid=157463 comm="python3" requested_mask="r"
denied_mask="r" fsuid=1000 ouid=0

and I have noe clue how to debug this, since I have no idea – and, even worse,
not found any documentation or specification about snapd's security model and
armor rules and how to change them – where to start.
