I can confirm that chibi-scheme-images from jammy-proposed has fixed the
bug for me.
Test done:
install chibi-scheme-images in a jammy system
confirm that the issue is seen and the installation fails.

Thanks Dave. My initial debdiff was using chibi-scheme (>=
${source:Version}) and after Paride asked to change I was trying to
remember why I used (>= ${source:Version}). Now I know. I will adjust
the debdiff for SRU accordingly.
