it. You may need to enable security repos in sources.list file

It is happening very rarely now,
and no, I never noticed it happening soon after an update.
Pips complaint about video in youtube is not related to this bug

I run Ubuntu/8.04 Firefox/3.0.4
I can walk away from my computer,
and when I return, firefox has disappeared.
I'd love to stop it

I asked my wife to run Firefox from a terminal for a while, and when the
problem happened most recently we captured input. Here is what we seen in the
terminal window when it crashed. We think that it may be related to the fact
she doesn't have sound in Firefox at all but does have sound with
firefox 2 won't receive any fixes in hardy anymore

i get this same problem with youtube videos only in firefox 3 beta 4. i
think it is somehow related to flash elements
