As I noted in testcase comment at terminal I killed lubuntu-installer-prompt & I had a normal LXQt session appear... At last resort (this issue maybe very rare; if its not transitory..) we can document how to kill lubuntu-installer-prompt as I did on discourse.. no need to mention in release
