maybe when Caps Lock on, the ctrl + V doesn't work, but the ctrl + C
work perfectly. I had this problem in Firefox with ubuntu 10.10

Running Gutsy Ubuntu 7.10. Using a combination of Nautilus 2.20.0 and Thunar
0.8.0.
Quite often I can't copy and paste files using Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V or through the
right-click context menu. This usually occurs between windows or the desktop,

+1, though I'm finding pasting between Thunar windows via the shortcut always
fails. In other words to reproduce simply:
- open two Thunar windows
- select a file and copy (ctrl+c)
- in the other window try to paste - the shortcut (ctrl+v) doesn't work but
doing it via the menu (Edit Paste)
I can confirm that trying to copy/paste from nautilus to Thunar is grayed out
most of the time. When it is grayed out Thunar will sometimes locks up and I do
a force quit.
I have had it happen in Nautilus but not often

It's hard to tell for certain because it is difficult for me to reproduce the
bug.
I think that it would usually be between nautilus and thunar.
I can always reproduce this, slightly different, bug:
* Right click on a file in Nautilus and click copy.
* Open a new copy of Thunar
* Right click and
