This issue should be treated as a bug because it affects a lot of notebooks and
leaves them without sound.
Maybe the bug can be renamed, but it should be fixed.

A common problem with many lenovo notebook computers appears to be that
there is a switch for lenovo laptops intel audio drivers that has to be
manually enabled.
In the file '/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base' you enable audio on a Lenovo
laptop by adding a line 'options snd-hda-intel model=lenovo' then
