Yea, I tried changing it to WPA but it just messed up the Windows
computers but for some reason would not let Ubuntu connect.

I have a wireless-g USB Network Adaptor. I'm using the adaptor to
connect to the wireless gateway. Well the network manager is able to
find the network but when trying to connect by entering the security
code it just sits for awhile and does nothing not connecting
