A bit late on this one---I'm on Karmic testing right now I guess that
this one should have been closed---I had forgot about it...The later
issue of nVidia driver 180 fixed this problem.Thank You

More Information--I have found that the problem only happens with a
OpenGL screensaver--the basic savers work without problems will not
create tons of apps. So, this is looking like a problem with the
interaction of the new nVidia driver, both screensavers Xorg.I
