note from downstream:
This code works on python2.5 without problems, so it is python2.6 related.
Furthermore, python2.5 contains the same gtk/pygtk version as python2.6 so that
should not be to blame.
It appears also that sometimes the crash does not appear, so it is not 100%
reproducable.
looks like there is a workaround by either using gramps 3.0.x, or by not
using -O
