Pedro, there is no System - Preferences menu in Natty so I'm
transposing the initial example to System Settings Control Center. The
situation is the same in Natty.
Most applications exit with ESC, for example; About Me, Appearance,
Assistive Technology, Broadcast Accounts, Broadcast Preferences.
Thanks for the report Jarlath , It has been a long time without any
comment or a duplicate in this bug report and It is possible that the
bug has been fixed. May you please try to reproduce it with the latest
Stable Release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal and add the respective
comments to the report?
I want to note that the standard key combination to close a window is
Ctrl+W for multi-window applications, and Ctrl+Q for singular windows.
Unfortunately gnome-control-center obeys neither (nor does gnome-power-
prefs), so maybe that should be fixed too/first.
