Since this bug hasn't been responded to in the past 4 months I am
marking as invalid. if the bug is still an issue with Karmic please
feel free to open this bug report back up if you can obtain a good gdb.

Hi Sebastien. I am still fairly new to ubuntu, I followed all the steps
in http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash. Now for me to do a
backtrace, I need to know the name of the application that I can include
it in the GDB command. My problem is with the Desktop, what is the
application name
For more clarity on my issue; I need to know how to do a backtrace for
issues related to the Desktop and not applications on it.
