Please reopen this as GUI issue (or whatever appropriate). At least with
Human theme, the icon is a Forbidden symbol. It should be an X, or
better, there should be a button under Add button, labeled Remove.

That's the delete account icon? A red no symbol?
I thought that icon was telling me there was something wrong with the
account, and I came here to report the bug that I couldn't delete
accounts.
While this isn't a functionality bug, it is an interface bug.

If you go to the 'edit' menu, accounts(f4), on the right hand side of
the screen there is a list box that houses all your user accounts. All
the way to the right, next to each of your accounts there is a trash
icon. Click the icon, confirm the removal and that should solve the
problem. I marked
