Another suggested fix:
Automatically reduce gnome's default font-sizes on smaller displays.
For example, using 8pt fonts (changed in the control centre from the default
12pt) for application font, desktop font, window title font, fixed width font
makes this dialog (and other oversize ones too)

Suggested fix: Show a scroll bar is the entire dialog cannot fit.
Workaround: Hold down Alt and pull the window up.

I think a good GUI should be able to adjust itself to the current window
and screen size. It would be nice to see this one fixed. It is a very
important dialog and shouldn't be hard to fix.

Very irritating bug that affects me too. Its really irritating because
