Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
Here is how i could reproduce this moe than once: I was browsing in facebook an right-clicked on a link a friend posted to open the link in new tab. the link directs to : http://www.german-design-council.de/fileadmin/Bilder/Designpreis_der_BRD/DP_2010/ice_3_cmyk.jpg. thats a really big image which takes a long time to long. if i now click on the loading tap to open it, the whole i server crashes and i am presented the gdm login screen. interestingly: if i wait until the image is loaded, i can open the tab without a crash - but the display is corrupted.
