Hello Joseph,
It has been some time since this bug has seen any activity. The bug has
not been assigned to a package, so perhaps we can find the correct
package by better understanding what type of configuration files needs
to be provided by the Ubuntu project.
As well, please be sure to test
Ubuntu would have to provide a config file for this, something like
kubuntu-default-settings, to provide this feature.

I'm using ubuntu feisty and my qt file requester open folders with
double click. Does this only apply to kubuntu with ubuntu-desktop
installed?
