I found the same happens for me, I have an atom netbook and it uses around 100% all time and doesn't go down after you stop nautilus from trying to load the shares. You have to manually stop it. I'm running the 64bit Ubuntu 10.10 beta. -- gvfsd-smb-browse uses all CPU when try to access another
