Wrong Pidgin Unity
I'm having this exact same issue with Pidgin - opening a new message
through Indicator presents the problems as mentioned above.

After checking Pidgin's bugtracker, someone suggested bug #589890 as
relevant to the Indicator problem. I've marked this as a duplicate as

Pidgin crashes here for a very long time now (karmic,lucid,maverick),
when i do
And another backtrace. Appearently with a different reason.. I don't
know why. Same situation as described above.
