Confirming. I'm seeing this issue too (Ubuntu 10.10, docky 2.0.9)
I can't reproduce it though, it just happens from time to time here.

Yep, you are right. Either this or any other way launching it (except clicking
the icon on the dock) works.
I'll try to reproduce it tomorrow to see what causes this.
