Just uploaded Apport Report about system specs, in short, bug still remains in
Karmic via CLI.
Not sure which key you meant here,
Attaching a debdiff that itroduces the APT::Get::HideAutoRemove key.
manpage of apt-get doesn't mention it.
Did a test cmd via CLI:
sudo apt-get -s purge
This configuration key is listed in
/usr/share/doc/apt/examples/configure-index.gz , with all the other
configuration keys.
If you want to use it, read the manpage for apt.conf and the mentioned
configure-index.gz.
