When? I think I fixed one that happened around January, but I didn't fix
the handles when the app crashed. There is no way of killing them from
my side (they are like unresponsive applications, the main thread
crashed and can't check for their life)

I didn't say that the app was hanging. The point is the handle remains on
the screen when the window is moved or removed.
