an explanation of why the 60-second countdown is a bad idea.

countdown might be followed by other confirmation alerts, so you can't
rely on it to shut down
Closing this bug as invalid, because when the new shutdown dialogues are
implemented (see

) the user will always be presented with a second conformation step
after clicking on the indicator
