Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cryptsetup

cryptsetup is supposed to ask for a password up to 3 times by default (if you 
fail to enter it correctly).
This does not happend with my version (2:1.0.4+svn26-1ubuntu1)
The flag "--tries" which is supposed to change the default of 3 times, does not 
work either.

The exact command which I executed is:
/sbin/cryptsetup --timeout=180 --tries=2 luksOpen /dev/loop0 noam-encrypted
