To clarify, you expect it to be 1280x1024, with the 24 bit color mode as
shown in xorg.conf, but it comes up in a different resolution? It looks
like in the Xorg.0.log that it used 800x600. Is that correct?

[Kevin] yes, it is correct.

To clarify, you are seeing an Xorg crash when you change the resolution
using xrandr?
[Kevin] yes, the X will crash

GUI.

To clarify, you were able to successfully rotate the screen, but you
believe this is only because of the lower resolution settings?
[Kevin] no, I can not change the resolution from menu, because the resolution
is incorrect and the menu "screen resolution" is out of screen. I can not
select it.

Also, when you say "from the GUI", do you mean the "Screen Resolution"
preferences dialog?
[Kevin] yes

> from the MMI, I got the same error when trying to do roation.

What is "MMI"?
[Kevin] sorry, it is command line. For example: From command line, by the
command "xrandr -o 90" (also for 180/270) is not support with error: "X Error
of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)..."

Thanks
Kevin
