I have discovered that this problem occurs whether or not the USB
keyboard or mouse is plugged in. I assume this means that it the problem
is to do with the USB itself or the software/driver which should be
controlling it. Since it works with other operating systems without a

I also have this problem on Edgy.
Importing a calendar from Google Calendar (using the private ics address)
usually works (but sometimes throws an cannot resolve hostname error) but it
does not sync. Or, it has synced once, but that is all. And I don't get error
messages.

Hi,
I installed edgy a few weeks ago and still had the same problem with
firestarter. I installed dhcp3-server along with it but i still had to
symlink /etc/init.d/dhcp3-server to /etc/init.d/dhcpd to get it working.
It's good to see it fixed now, i will try it again when i install feisty :-).
I've installed Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft and EVERYTHING WORKS NOW!
Suspend and hibernate.

Printing error
Omnibook module finally gave me the opportunity to control my lcd
brightness (toshiba satellite m40-281), otherwise it was impossible for
me. Now that hal supports omnibook module, gnome-power-manager is able
to control lcd brightness (Fn-keys obviously do not work).

As always I simply launched evolution checking for emails. At exit it
crashes without having done anything in particular. I found that this
happens expecially if I don't delete the evolution recycle. So I
installed also Thunderbird, but after few days of good working, it toke

The package installs the teg_icono.png file to two separate locations,

I don't have a file named /var/log/partman but i do have the syslog,
to get this log, after the crash I had to press ctrl+alt+backspace to
restart X, log in and then copy the file to my desktop to post it here.
I hope this helps.

As can be seen from the log I'm using:
1) Maxima 5.9.3 - which is only in edgy: wxmaxima's version will then be edgy's
version:
2) wxmaxima: 0.6.5-1
3) xmaxima: 5.9.3-1
both front-end gave the error I've reported.
** Now, everything is working fine **
I don't know what has changed: I've only
gnome-terminal is 2.16.1-0ubuntu1, this is feisty updated as of about
Friday. The mouse is a PS/2 Logitech MouseMan+. uname -a gives Linux
wildthing 2.6.20-3-386 #2 Tue Dec 26 06:50:47 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux
