and broken systems is that the broken system has its root filesystem on
a linux (md) raid1 disk pair.
I installed a single extra drive in the broken system
If we sync it now then the new version should be in Debian before August
16th (UpstreamVersionFreeze). After that an exception is needed to get
it in.
If we wait for the new version to get released and into Debian then we
have time till August 30th (NewPackagesUniverseFreeze) to get it synced.
Actually, it comes to life if you leave it for a while. A minute or two,
at most.

Same as gizzmo, my system has no printer, so when i connect a parallel
port iomega drive to the system at boot, the dmesg log shows the parport
(?) finds a scsi device and ppa v2.0.7 logs a start mesage but there are

rosa Intel chipset that was not recognised by the ata_pxii module. See:

The problem is that the fxload needs a device as arguemnt (-D
/proc/bus/usb/XXX/YYY).
I have made a wrapper-script and a new udev-rules-file to be used. They
works fine on my system but I'd like to have other test them as well.

Sorry I forgot to mention that this is on an amd64 Gutsy system (the
fglrx driver doesn't give 3D on Edgy or Feisty either, anything before
that doesn't work with this lapop's harddrive and 32bit versions wont
run due to a BIOS error, so I can't test on them sorry)
