I think it's been fixed. I used the 1105 library this morning, and after
the last update, the symbolic link was pointing (again) to 1106... but I
restarted eclipse and the tooltips are showing up normally... so the
problem is gone (apparently).

After I rebooted the laptop I ran dmesg -c to clean the log, then inserted the
USB stick (as can be seen in the log) and it worked, I removed it properly,
then I hibernated and tried again but this time NOTHING. the output of

To be more specific, when I said will not display a TV channel window at all,
after resume if you run mplayer /dev/video0 it will hang. Restarting the X
server and trying again removes the hanging problem, but then it just says,
Playing /dev/video0. Win32 LoadLibrary failed to load:

GParted killed my mainboard after it failed to partition my IDE drive
which sits as C: together with the SATA RAID0 E: (WINXP Boot) and Ubuntu
assigned partitions (/root, /boot, /home and /swap)
