The issue has been adressed in the latest pre-proposed kernel
2.6.32-25.43~pre201008210902 from here: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-
ppa/+archive/pre-proposed
With this kernel USB wakeup is functional again. Chances are that we
will see this kernel in the main repo soon.

I can also confirm this problem on Kubuntu 10.04 and, although I've
followed the instructions to upgrade to 1.3.0, I'm sorry to have to
report that 1.3.0 does not fix it for me. Although it is a definite
