gfortran can not find .mod files located in
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/fortran/gfortran-mod-15
The .mod files from /usr/include work perfectly well.
I have found two workarounds:
- To explicitly specify -I flag with that directory
or
- to symlink needed .mod
Changing status to this bug since:
- it affects multiple colleagues of mine with the same setup
- it affects me under Ubuntu 20.04 too, fully updated with the following
versions:
- systemd 245.4-4ubuntu3.1
- network-manager 1.22.10-1ubuntu2.1
- network-manager-openvpn 1.8.12-1
-
I was wrong in my previous comment. I had to recompile the kernel and
move to a more recent one than 5.4.x that's shipped with 20.04. Tested
this on a fresh 20.04 installation.

Glad to hear! Just out of curiosity: What will be the next steps? Should
this issue also be reported to the debian bug tracker because it affects

And also: Should there be a discussion about the security impact? If
IMO this should go to -security as well because security updates can
