I solved my problem by setting chmod 444 on the certificate and key
files, after which apt-get -f install worked perfectly. I had
previously set chmod 400.
I assume this problem was just waiting for slapd to be restarted before
biting me, and it just happened to be this update that triggered it.
Nuts. What a bummer it didn't make 12.04. Is there an easy way I can
list out the rev-deps to get an idea for the scope of this?

After numerous tries, I was able to get this to work by the following
1) plug the EVDO and wait for the log to show failed as given on my
opening thread
2) type sudo modprobe option
3) unplug and plug EVDO
* Now the EVDO device will be shown on the network manager and I am able
to connect. Please let me know why this is happenning.

bug was gone. A bit after I switched back, it froze at resume again.
This is on a Intel GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics.

My Bluetooth device does not have a USB Receiver it is intended to
connect strictly via a BT connection with my BT hardware on the laptop
in question. However here is what I get when I connect USB charging
cable and BT headset via USB:

Notably extensive testing of this hardware has already been conducted by
myself and also various Canonical Engineers/Developers there seems to be
a strong consensus that this is Kernel related.
Mainline does nothing to resolve the issues.

Canon Pixma MP150 doesn't print text

Canon Pixma MP150 worked with previous Ubuntu versions. Now it can print
image files but a single page document from Libre Office was incomplete
even though in preview it was ok. After that the printer freezes.
Canceling the job won't help. It wont do a thing and MP150 is
snd-intel8x0 only support stereo and does not support mono

I have a similar problem on my PC (AMD Duron 1800, 1,5 GB RAM, BIOS from 2003).
Maybe it's the same cause, maybe not, I don't know. Can you help me find out?
(BTW: this CPU _does_ support PAE, as I checked!)
