[HP 4520S, 3.11 regression] Keyboard stops
Simon Ruggier is correct. Virtual addressing has nothing to do with
physical address space used.
This empty space doesn't even take up swap space, let alone virtual
memory. It does take up some page tables but that's it.
Having the extra virtual address space there is actually a good thing.
Issue still persists, tested with Live CD (Linux ubuntu 3.11.0-4-generic
#9-Ubuntu SMP) as well as latest mainline kernel (v3.11-rc7-saucy).
