@nuthinking Ah ok, that's why then, I switched to Unity 2d. Also, the
designs show the menu integration option but I don't see that in the
Appearance options on my system and I know a few people were looking

backgrounds and vice versa but if I change the theme to Radiance it
still produces the light menus even though the backgrounds are now
light. It doesn't seems to take into account which theme you are using.

I researched it about a year ago now for work and the kernel should
probe the hardware to see if it supports TRIM. If it doesn't then it
won't use it. It shouldn't cause any problems for people. If anyone
knows differently then let me know.
I've run disks with the discard option on normal
Looking at the initial commit for TRIM in the kernel I can see that it's
calling ata_id_has_trim() and passing in the disks ID. This looks like
it filters disks that don't support TRIM.
