Neither nautilus nor gnomebaker can erase or write a CD-RW (gnomebaker
error is 'cdrecord: Operation not permitted. Cannot send SCSI cmd via

However, gksudoing nautilus make it able to erase and write CR-RW.

It does not work, and it returns 'cdrecord: Operation not permitted.
Cannot send SCSI cmd via ioctl'. I've attached the full reponse and
errors of the command...
However, sudo cdrecord blank=fast works.

The problem seems fixed with the 8 jan daily build (fresh install)
LAN works at startup automatically and it does even work if card is plugged
after boot

Regarding the number of duplicates and comments, I don't believe it's a
vocal minority. And regarding all the opposition, maybe a kind of survey
would be nice to be sure the feature is benefic to Ubuntu users or not.

I also got a kernel panic using natty on an notebook with an atheros
AR2427 PCI-E adapter (32 bit kernel).
The new proposed kernel 2.6.38-9 seems to fix the problem, no more
kernel panic for now...

I get the problem on two laptops (16.04 up to date), after a suspend/resume
cycle, wifi network list disappears from nm-applet. If I kill and restart
nm-applet, wifi network list is displayed again.
On a third laptop, I have to restart network-manager service daemon.
