Still issue in Oneiric. Discription of the bug is still the same but
there is sometimes useful workaround - power one printer before OS boot
up. This workaround work not everytime.
I was remove old useless logs. New information:

The problem is if skype:i386 is installed (via apt-get) aptitude will
propose to remove skype:i386 AND ia32-libs-multiarch AND all
i386-software EVERY time when aptitude is trying to resolve dependecy
while software installation or upgrade. You know - it's VERY
uncomfortable.

2. Try to install kde-window-manager-gles (OpenGL ES implementation of KWin,
much faster with FOSS GPU drivers than OpenGL implementation).
