celestia, nexuiz or even a 3d screensaver like one with the wireframe ant, the
problem vanishes with a -39 kernel. In a discussion with Chris Van Hoof today
he tells me he thinks the new kernel just masks the error

I know. It sounds ridiculous.
But after formatting a SD card by Palm (Tx), Ubuntu 8.04 does not mount
automatically the SD card.
If I run sudo fdisk -l, the SD card is listed as /media/sde1, but it's
not mounted automatically. If I run manually a mount command, it mounts.
I think you misunderstood the problem. The card is not detected in
instalation time not after installed.

I know next to nothing about emulation but I believe that, if isn't possible
for dosemu to overcome this situation, at least a message giving a clue about
mmap_min_addr should be issued so the user can choose.
