This seems to happen reliably on jpg's produced by darktable.
Darktable-rendered pics all cause the crash. These were all NEF (Nikon)
raw
I used the bootstrapdatabase.py script provided by HappyCamper, changing
SCHEMAFILE to:
/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/txdav/common/datastore/sql_schema/current.sql
and then ran it with:
sudo -u caldavd /usr/bin/psql -h /var/run/postgresql -U caldavd -d caldav -f

akonadi needs mariadb (not newer mySql) to start up. Other things might
be involved too. Since akonadi gets used by address book, the notes,
kmail, PIM, etc. any problem there will bleed over.

Ahh, thanks for reminding me on this issue. I figured out the issue. To
answer your question, yes, default install of all LO is installed. You
cannot edit form fields without first installing libreoffice-base
(database app) which isn't installed by default on *buntu systems, or at
least Kubuntu.
I have this issue when attempt to connect to remote Solaris boxes.
Haven't tried the patch above just yet.

In LibreOffice Writer (lowriter) do the following:
1) Click View - Toolbars - Form Controls
2) Add a Text Box form
3) Double click the new Text Box form or right-click and select Control
What to expect: Form control dialog opens where you can configure the
Text Box.
I just did an oem install with 12.04 and I had a nice GUI the entire way
through. Does anyone know if this was an issue when Ryan filed the bug
that was fixed? I am still combing through bzr commits and other bug
reports to try and figure this whole thing out. Thanks!

Hey Aaron, do you by chance remember the version you were running when
you got this error? At the earliest point in the ubiquity code repo, it
looks as if 10.10 (Maverick) was the first release with the ubi-*
plugins. Just a quick glance through the code, I don't see much that was
different
I just did an OEM install with 10.04.4 LTS, 11.10, and 12.04 (per IRC
conversation) and none of them had this problem whatsoever. So, I shall
close this bug and fulfill my promise from IRC.

and I was not able to reproduce this issue. About the time you filed
this report there were quite a bit of changes happening to ubiquity

I just did a manual partition in 12.04 just fine (though I did find
another bug not related to this on the desktop install process). Have
you tried on any of the later releases (11.10, 12.04 alpha - beta next

I have been testing ubiquity-kde today/tonight with 10.04.4 LTS, 11.10,
and 12.04. Having done so, I have always tabbed to continue and pressed
enter w/o any issues. Alt+C also worked w/o issues. Is this still an

doesn't work in Oneiric. I did the 'iwlist wlan0 scan essid
myhiddenssid' to get it to work.

/var/log/syslog is that it notices my pushes to the external wifi
button.

I have it building. The current status of packaging scripts though isn't
that great. I am looking through the stuff and working on koffice2.1.1
which is due to be released in the next few days. I am always using
krita now with the 2.1.1 release. It seems someone else started working
