When the screen is splited, the resolution is still correct, as shown by
xdpyinfo. Changing the window manager to metacity using metacity
--replace will fix the splited screen, and the bug will not occur when
using metacity.

This bug is partly fixed in Hardy Alpha-2. The currently remained
unfixed part is as following:
Steps to reproduce:
1. First suspend the system and then resume the system from suspend
status.
2. Select to Reboot from the system menu. But the system cannot reboot
properly. It stopped at a screen
I tested it in Hardy Alpha 2. This bug is not fixed.
There is no error message shown when using ethtool to change the speed
to 10M. But the speed remains unchanged. As following:
