It seems that the problem is gone on up-to-date Ubuntu Gutsy - epiphany
2.20.0-0ubuntu1, epiphany-extensions 2.20.0-0ubuntu1, python-gobject/pygobject
2.14.0-0ubuntu1, python-gtk2/pygtk 2.12.0-0ubuntu1.
Everything works OK now! Thanks. Can someone else confirm?

I can confirm the bug too with any of the four python extensions. Other
extensions seems to be fine.

For me there are 4 extensions causing the same problem (and it doesn't need any
flash or javascript):
- Creative Commons
- Epilicious
- Favicon
- Python
Maybe a python problem?

Please see my comment above, at the very least it's the Creative
Commons license viewer(cc-license-viewer.py) and the Favicon fallback(
favicon.py).

From my testing I thought it was Python Console but the problem started
appearing after a while even with Python Console disabled. Please let us
know if disabling CC license viewer helps even after a few days of
using. I think I had this extension disabled and the problem was still
persisting for
I think the culprit is the feed reader extension. I deactivated it and
it seems to work now. I'm not 110% sure it really was that one.

actually no, I did some more testing, and the feed reader extension is
not the problem. The problem is the creative commons license viewer
extension, and I'm pretty sure about that. At least that solved the
problem in my case. What about you?

This bug got me looking into the problem being related to epiphany-
extensions. Removing all extensions the problem seems to be fixed.
After adding extensions back untill the problem reappeared , it looks
like it's caused by the Creative Commons license viewer(cc-license-
viewer.py) and the
It happens with other types of video, too, not only flash. Just open any
video in stage6.com (divx videos), close the tab and watch it happen.

Same problem here. I would add that any flash content does this for me.
Browser windows disappear when closed but they are still in memory.
Opening (and eventually closing) further windows leads to huge CPU and
memory consumption and finally epiphany crashes.
One remarkable thing is with killing
If I open only pages without flash, epiphany closes OK and no process
remains. Once I open something with flash content, closing any further
ephy tab or window (even without flash) produces something like this ...

The problem is with epiphany-extensions, disabling all of them or
uninstalling the package solves the problem. I have not been able to
find out which specific extension causes the problem.
Daengbo, does removing or disabling epiphany-extensions help you?
