Everyone: Try clicking on the cog when entering your password to log in, and change your session from the default Wayland session to an X.org session. This bug looks like it's confined to Wayland but doesn't exist in X.org. Switching to X.org will be a good workaround until the bug is fixed. --

I have the exact same issues. Upgraded from 16.10 to 17.04 and then immediately to 17.10. Everything works fine, except this drag and drop behavior. It is limiting to my productivity as I tend to use the desktop a lot. I would just like to add that when moving files from a nautilus window onto

Would you please confirm if this is the same bug I am seeing? Getting two different bugs on Ubuntu 17.10 with dragging and dropping files, and they're both between nautilus and nautilus-desktop program interactions. 1. When dragging a file from the desktop (nautilus-desktop) over onto a nautilus

I do not know how to do that. Interestingly, the drag and drop issue seems to be tied to the desktop. I can drag a photo from the pictures folder to the desktop (it copies rather than move) but not from the desktop to the photos folder. On 10/25/2017 11:30 AM, Joseph Salisbury wrote: > Does

Does this issue go away if you boot back into the 17.04 kernel? If not, the bug may be outside the kernel. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you
