This bug is a duplicate of Bug 1841766. There is currently a package in -proposed, lttng-modules 2.10.8-1ubuntu1~18.04.1 which fixes this problem on bionic. It has been in -proposed for quite some time, waiting on verification for Bug 1841766 and Bug 1813062. I tested lttng-modules
