Thanks, after running apt-get update it works. Which is very strange,
because I reloaded the package information at least five times from
synaptic. It looks like synaptic didn't do it correctly.

Apport requires a working apt archive cache to identify the origin of a package.
Can you please add the output of 'apt-cache policy packagename' of one of the
packages that failed for you to this report please? Also: what ubuntu release
and
