The 18 month support period for Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 has reached its end of life -

upstream have marked this invalid
From acpidump does not seem to have any _PSS intofrmation in there. So, no
P-states can be supported. BIOS does not support P-states as per ACPI.
as best as i can understand the MacPro BIOS does not support p-states.
I have my woodcrest on a Tyan Tempest i5000XT
I can report the same bug on the final 7.10 release. Booted off the Live
CD. My machine is a Mac Pro 8-core.
This is an extremely annoying bug, it'd be great if someone could have a
look at it. Tens of thousands of users must be having this very same
problem. Thanks!
