It seems that everybody is confused, too.
Checked out #ubuntu-android on freenode. But the channel seems to be
empty.

Jordon, great find on the Ubuntu Wiki.
James, Remember what I said about LXC in #ubuntu-android? I bet they have a
custom udev rule that is triggered by the phone/tablet being inserted into
the craddle/docking station. Theoretically you could create your

Chris,
The main problem I see is how the GPU is shared between Android and Ubuntu
(or other distros). I'm sure both systems won't cope with the GPU
'disappearing' and being handed to the other system. It's certainly not
acceptable to wait for a reboot each time the system is switched; both

Could I perhaps chroot Android onto Ubuntu? Then try to solve hardware

I'm keeping my eyes peeled for any news, but I haven't seen anything to
back this up. The only thing I've noticed
Ps. I've misread one of those links about VMGL; it looks like VMGL won't
work either way round between Ubuntu and Android.

Hi James,
I too would like to know where to get a Ubuntu for Android phone. Good find
on the new video. At the moment, hardware wise it still seems like vapor.
Let me know if you find out any details. FWIW, I'm in the U.S., but I'm all
about international shipping if I need to go that route. James

appealing to me as an alternative to UfA.
And thanks Chris for Freenode/#ubuntu
