Impact : The init status command displays an error message in addition to the
status.
Affects : =2.40-1ubuntu4 (hardy, intrepid)
Development branch fix : patch was accepted yesterday in Debian 2.42-3, will be
merged as soon as MoM catches up, see bug 239404 for details.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
From my analysis, the nagios2 package depends on nagios2-common, which
depends on mailx, so everything should be alright.
I'll mark this bug Invalid, feel free to reopen it if you think it has
not been solved
Upstream's hint was not very precise, since ciaddr is the server
address, not the current client address. I fixed the patch now, thanks!

You mean https://launchpad.net/~zulcss/+archive; ?
I tried it with your version (3.0.28a-1ubuntu4.2~ppa) but it doesn't solve the
issue.
I get there also the NT_STATUS_INVALID_PRIMARY_GROUP error.
Sorry I've found no reference to the fix in the samba bugzilla. May be I
used the wrong search

Can you try the samba package from my ppa?

Hmm, wouldn't a groupadd -a -G sambashare $USER do the trick? Maybe it
could be put into the Makefile? Or perhaps not??? I don't know how but
this seems fairly easy to fix.

Well, I consider this a borderline case for an SRU in light of the
discussion prior to release about this likely not being a standard
interface in the long term. I'll say yes here because the risk is
very low, but this package should not enter -proposed until after the
8.04.1 CD builds are done.
