Hi guys, I know what i'm about to say will sound down-right strange, but
my ubuntu 10.10 server (dist-upgrade from 10.04), the samba server
worked flawless. But now, I installed Ubuntu 10.10 desktop, and Samba
3.5.4 is giving me the exact same issues. No matter what
username/password I type in,

The main problem with these files:
/usr/share/applications/zenmap.desktop
/usr/share/applications/zenmap-root.desktop
It's the wrong path declared inside them. When I edited them to get rid
this part in each (wrong) line:
/build/buildd/nmap-5.21/debian/tmp
They started to work

Hi. My kvm domains didnt' migrate too until I noticed I was missing the package
kvm-pxe in the destination server.

Does Nautilus use smbclient (or the client library) for sure? Is it
possible that the issue is in the way Nautilus uses smbclient? I'm

Libvirt seems to start ok in the console, although I cannot use the
Virtual Machine Details window when connected to a remote machine. (I
can, however, start and stop the remote machine)
The problem seems to be a crash in dpkg only.
