Is this still a problem? It was a little unclear from the original bug
report.
Also
This issue was probably caused by Launchpad's own rabbitmq dependencies
which uses non-standard packages
Not quite sure what this means - did you have an unofficial rabbitmq
package installed before
The issue was caused by a missing host name. The install/uninstall
script is brittle because when the computer's host name could not be
determined, the script died. The issue did not relate to Lp packages, it
was caused more by the fact that as a developer, I only had the
rabbitmq-server running
