Public bug reported: The package seems to have been updated as a security update. This update somehow has removed the InnoDB data- and logfiles (ibdata1, ib_logfile0, ib_logfile1) and deleted my whole database :(
The attached mysql-error.log shows that the update process seems to had some problems (the "ALTER TABLE user"... that has gone wrong), the part about the missing "runtime/nagios_instances" table is a result of the update. ** Affects: mysql-5.1 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "MySQL error log from that time." https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1075484/+attachment/3425453/+files/mysql-error.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to mysql-5.1 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1075484 Title: upgrade of mysql-server-5.1 to 5.1.66-0ubuntu0.10.04.1 removed InnoDB datafiles To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.1/+bug/1075484/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
