I recently upgraded a Dell OptiPlex 7000 from 23.04 to 23.10 and a new
install of Ubuntu 23.10 on a fresh Dell Latitude 7440. Both are now
unstable, regularly crashing out of gnome with a full plain white screen

I try it again, this error has nothing to do with bug #1861609. In 2020
I was running Xubuntu 20.04 and Virtualbox 6.1. This error only occurs
in Xubuntu 23.10 and it does not occur in the development
